The ball mill is key equipment in grinding industry, especially in mineral ore dressing plants. It is widely used for the cement, the silicate product, new type building material, fire-proof material, chemical fertilizer, black and non-ferrous metal, glass, ceramics and etc.
What is the working principle of Rod mill?
The ball mill is horizontal rotating devices transmitted by the outer gear. The ball mill has two warehouses. The materials are transported by feeder to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft spirally, then enter the first warehouse. In the warehouse, there is a ladder scale board or ripple scale board. Steel balls of different specifications are installed in the scale board. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and then fall to grind and strike the material. After being grinded coarsely in the first warehouse, the material then enters into the second warehouse for regrinding. The above action repeats constantly till the size of materials reaches the required fineness. In the end, the powder is discharges by output material board and the end products are completed.
What is the features of Rod mill?
